Comprehensive policies for WorldWise Kids | Effective Date: March 13, 2026

A — Accessibility Policy

WorldWise Kids is committed to making education accessible to all children, regardless of ability. We strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and continuously improve accessibility features.

Our commitments:

  • Screen reader compatibility
  • Keyboard navigation support
  • High contrast text and readable fonts
  • Alternative text for all images
  • Adjustable text sizes

B — Bullying and Harassment Policy

WorldWise Kids is a safe space for learning. We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, or hateful conduct.

Since our platform does not currently support user messaging or public profiles, the risk of bullying is minimized. Should we introduce social features in the future, robust anti-bullying measures will be implemented.

C — Content Standards & Moderation Policy

All content on WorldWise Kids is carefully curated to ensure it is:

  • Age-appropriate and educational
  • Accurate and evidence-based
  • Free from violence, explicit material, or harmful content
  • Inclusive and respectful of diverse backgrounds

External resource links are reviewed before inclusion. If you find inappropriate content, please report it to support@dlustudio.info.

D — Data Minimization Policy

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide and improve the Service. We do not collect unnecessary personal information, especially from children.

E — Equity and Inclusion Policy

WorldWise Kids is designed to serve all children, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, socioeconomic status, or geographic location.

Our content reflects diverse perspectives and promotes empathy, respect, and understanding.

F — Free Content Guarantee

All learning content on WorldWise Kids is free, forever.

We will never lock educational content behind paywalls, premium tiers, or subscription fees. Donations support operations but never unlock content.

G — Grievance and Complaint Policy

If you have a complaint or concern about the Service, we want to hear from you. Contact us at support@dlustudio.info with:

  • A description of the issue
  • Relevant details (URLs, screenshots, etc.)
  • Your contact information

We will respond within 5 business days and work to resolve the issue promptly.

H — Honest Communication Policy

We believe in transparent, honest communication with parents, teachers, and users. We will:

  • Clearly explain what the Service does and does not do
  • Be upfront about data collection and usage
  • Promptly notify users of changes to policies or features
  • Admit mistakes and take corrective action when necessary

I — Intellectual Property Policy

All content on WorldWise Kids is protected by copyright and owned by DLUS or licensed content providers.

Fair Use: Teachers and parents may use content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Redistribution, commercial use, or modification requires written permission.

L — Lesson Quality Assurance Policy

All lessons and quizzes are reviewed by educators and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, age-appropriateness, and educational value.

M — Monetization Policy

WorldWise Kids is funded by optional donations. We do not:

  • Display advertisements
  • Sell user data
  • Charge for educational content
  • Offer premium tiers with exclusive content

Donations are voluntary and never unlock additional content.

N — Non-Discrimination Policy

WorldWise Kids does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.

All users are welcome and treated with respect.

O — Open Feedback Policy

We value feedback from parents, teachers, students, and supporters. Share your ideas, suggestions, or concerns at support@dlustudio.info.

While we cannot implement every suggestion, we carefully consider all feedback in our development roadmap.

P — Parental Rights Policy

Parents and guardians have the right to:

  • Review and monitor their child's use of the Service
  • Request deletion of their child's account and data
  • Opt their child out of optional features (accounts, badges, etc.)
  • Contact us with questions or concerns

Q — Quality Control Policy

R — Refund Policy (Donations)

Donations to WorldWise Kids are voluntary and generally non-refundable. However, if you believe a donation was made in error, contact us at support@dlustudio.info within 14 days and we will review your request.

S — Security Policy

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect user data, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits.

T — Teacher Support Policy

Teachers using WorldWise Kids in classrooms receive:

  • Free access to all content and features
  • Classroom-friendly modes that do not require student accounts
  • Resources and guides for integrating content into curricula
  • Priority support for classroom-related questions

U — Updates and Notifications Policy

We will notify users of:

  • Major new features or content
  • Changes to Terms of Service or Privacy Policy
  • Service disruptions or maintenance
  • Security incidents affecting user data

Notifications are sent via email (for subscribed users) or displayed prominently on the Service.

V — Volunteer Content Contributor Policy

At this time, WorldWise Kids does not accept volunteer-contributed content. All lessons and materials are created in-house or by vetted partners.

W — Withdrawal and Account Deletion Policy

Users can delete their accounts at any time. Upon deletion:

  • Personal information is removed within 30 days
  • Progress data (bookmarks, badges) is permanently deleted
  • You may be required to confirm deletion to prevent accidental loss

X — External Links Policy

WorldWise Kids may link to external websites and resources. We carefully review links before inclusion, but we are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party sites.

Parents and teachers should review external links before allowing children to access them.

Y — Youth Protection Policy

WorldWise Kids is committed to protecting children from harm. Our platform:

  • Does not allow direct communication between users
  • Does not collect unnecessary personal information from children
  • Does not share children's data with third parties (except as required by law)
  • Provides parents with tools to monitor and control their child's use

If you suspect child abuse or exploitation related to the Service, contact us immediately at support@dlustudio.info or contact local authorities.

Z — Zero Tolerance for Abuse Policy

WorldWise Kids has zero tolerance for abuse, harassment, exploitation, or illegal activity. Violations will result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement.
